"Free-to-use" means the words can be copied and sung to at least one tune with no concerns about copyright or performance licensing - sometimes in a limited setting. Many of these hymns are old / traditional - but where possible a variety of styles and genres are included.
A small selection of hymns that are still copyright may also be included, if they are particularly appropriate.

Readings
First: Genesis 32:22-31 - Jacob wrestled with a man, who put Jacob's hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Jacob asked for the man's name and his blessing the reply was "You shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with humans, and have prevailed." Second: Romans 9:1-5 - Paul laments that the Israelites are cut off from God even though ... to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises;
