Most are free-to-use (ie public domain or copyright-free) meaning the words can be copied and sung to at least one tune with no concerns about copyright or performance licensing - although sometimes in limited circumstances. Many of these hymns are old/traditional - but where possible a variety of styles / genres are included.
A small selection of hymns that may still be copyright are also included, if they are particularly relevant.
Readings
First: Acts 9:36-43 - Paul is summoned to Joppa following the death of the disciple Tabitha (Dorcas). He prays with the body, and then says "Tabitha, get up." she opened her eyes .. and sat up. When this became known, many believed in the Lord.Psalm: 23 - The Lord is my shepherd.
Second: Revelation 7: 9-17 - John has a vision of people from every race, nation, tribe etc - standing in front of the Lamb - the Lamb will be their shepherd and lead them to springs of living water.
Gospel: John 10: 23-30 - The Jews say to Jesus "... If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly." He answers " ...but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep ... The sheep that belong to me listen to my voice - I give them eternal life - the Father and I are one."
