Readings
First: Acts 2: 14a, 22-32 - Peter, addressed the people, reminding that that Jesus was handed over to them according to God's plan, crucified and killed - but God raised him up, because it was impossible for him to be held in death's power - and that David predicted this.Second: I Peter 1: 3-9 - Blessed be God .. who in his great mercy has given us new birth ... by raising Jesus Christ from the dead. Your faith is worth more than gold.
Gospel: John 20: 19-31 - Jesus appears to the apostles while they are locked in the upper room. He wished Peace upon them, and breathed the Holy Spirit on them. But Thomas was not there, and doubted. Eight days later, Jesus came back and Thomas saw and believed. Jesus response; Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.
