Readings
First: Acts 3:12-19 - Peter reminds the people that it was the Israelites who handed over Jesus to Pilate - but that God raised him from the dead, and that they are witnesses to this. He calls them to repent and turn to God.Second I John 3:1-7 See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; ... when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.
Gospel: Luke 24:35-48 - Jesus appears again to the disciples, and eats with them. He then opens their minds to understand the scriptures, and that they are witnesses to the resurrection.
