The left-side lists the parts of the Rosary:
- Welcome
- Apostles Creed
- Prayers for the Pope
- Prayers for each mystery in today's decade, with counters to 5 (for mysteries) and 10 (for Hail Mary's)
- Hail Holy Queen
- Dismissal.
The right-hand-side side of the page has
- The full words of each prayer used in the decades of the Rosary.
The prayers are the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be and Fatima prayer.
These are set out with a leader saying the first part, and everyone joining in the second part, because this is the way that they are usually said during the Rosary). - A list of the days of the week, the name of the mystery for that day, and a list the specific intentions that this includes
eg Monday - The Joyful Mysteries: 1 The Annunciation, 2 The Visitation, 3 The Nativity, 4 The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and 5 The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
This section is for leaders. But having it on the same sheet of paper means that everyone has the information needed to be the leader.

Using the Rosary Prayer Card
What is included in "The Rosary"
- It can be very simple: just say the five sets of Our Father, 10x Hail Mary, and one Glory Be).
- It can be very complicated, eg a gathering hymn, some opening prayers, a meditation and a hymn for each decade, more extra prayers (eg to St Michael the Archangel, etc) at the end).
This sheet has a one commonly-used way of saying the Rosary, with blessing at the start, the creed, prayers for the pope, with a blessing at the end, with some frequently-recited prayers.
To adapt the sheet eg to add extra prayers, or remove ones you don't want, use the Microsoft Word version. However the formatting in Microsoft Word (hard to use, but very widely available) is "complex" - you need to know how to work with sections, column and tables.
About this design
This page is designed to be folded in half vertically, down the middle. (If an A5 booklet format would be more helpful, please leave a message in the Comments box at the bottom of the page.)
It was originally designed for school children praying the Rosary in class-groups.
- Everything is one one page
- There are "counters" to help remember 10 Hail Marys, and 5 Mysteries
- There are small pictures to help focus attention and be visually engaging.
They also help teachers know at a glance if the children are looking at the correct page - The words for each prayer are given on the other side: Many children remember these quite quickly - but not immediately.
- The days name for each set of mysteries, and the individual mysteries, are listed, so that potential leaders have all the information they need.
But it may be useful in a parish or chaplaincy, for
example for people who are new to praying the Rosary, or people who are learning English.
