Readings
First: Jeremiah 20:10-13 - The prophet is disparaged from every side, but knows that God is near ... praise the Lord for he has delivered the soul of the needy from the hands of evil ones.Psalm: 68 - In your great love answer me O God / It is for you that I suffer taunts / This is my prayer to you / The poor when they see it will be glad.
Second: Romans 5:12-15 - Sin entered the world through one man ... divine grace coming through .. Jesus Christ, came to so many as an abundant free gift.
Gospel: Matt 10: 26-33 - Do not be afraid ... you are worth more than a hundred sparrows .. if anyone declares himself for me in the presence of men, I will declare myself for him in heaven.
